Responsibilities

• Represent the store and company positively while promoting and exhibiting superior customer service
• Assist customers in making informed purchase decisions to accomplish their projects
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers and employees
• Conduct sales with both current and potential customers
• Maintain customer confidence by exhibiting product knowledge and being a resource to answer questions or solve problems
• Create and maintain relationships that ultimately grow our customer base
• Embody the company values and put customers first

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or higher education
• Previous building materials experience is a plus
• Self-motivated and responsible
• Excellent people skills and customer service skills
• Effective communication skills
• Desire for constant improvement
• Ability to listen, analyze, and provide guidance to customers related to their questions or projects

Compensation

Base salary of $40,000/year plus a monthly bonus opportunity
